Captions in one pass
Whisper transcribes your footage with word-level timing. Pick a style, and AfterWeez builds karaoke, word-pop or subtitle captions. Edit the look afterwards and it restyles live.

Silence cutter
Detect pauses, preview the slices, then close the gaps. Padding keeps the breathing room. The original layer stays underneath as a backup.

Text and easing
Parametrized text animators and spring easing on selected keyframes. Bounce, overshoot, decay, without hand-writing expressions.

Quick tools
Split and trim at the playhead, fit to comp, align to comp or anchor, precomp, rename. The small things you do forty times a day.

Open it like any panel.
- InstallRun the installer. It adds the panel to After Effects.
- OpenWindow › Extensions › AfterWeez. Dock it where you like.
- WorkAdd free API keys for captions or stock search in Settings. Everything else works as is.
Questions
Which After Effects versions work?
After Effects 14.0 (CC 2017) and newer. Some features, like the font picker list, use newer APIs and fall back gracefully on older versions.
Do I need to pay for AI services?
No. Captions use Groq's hosted Whisper with your own free key. Stock search uses free Pexels, Pixabay and Freesound keys, and Music needs no key. Keys stay on your machine.
Will it mess up my project?
Every action is wrapped in one undo group, so a single Cmd/Ctrl+Z reverts it. The silence cutter keeps your original layer underneath, switched off.
What about Premiere Pro?
It's planned for v2. The panel shell is shared, so the Premiere version reuses the same interface.
Where do downloaded stock files go?
Into Documents/AfterWeez/Stock, organized by provider, so footage doesn't go offline when your system cleans temp files.
